Using ds30loader without Console or GUI [solved]

I would like to be able to use the ds30loader without using the console or GUI. The way other people where I work do it involves activating their bootloader, and then sending the HEX file of the user app through RS232 over hyperterminal (or equivalent) to the target device.

Is this possible with the ds30loader? I am new to bootloaders, so this may be obvious to most people here.

That functionality is not available in ds30 Loader at the moment.

Is it possible to modify the console to suit my needs? The main system that will be programming my application board does not run on windows or linux. Would it be possible to get a copy of the source code for the console so that I can write something simple that mimics it's operation?
I work at a research institution and this project is for research purposes only. I won't be trying to profit off of your hard work.
