I'm having a problem with the GUI, it runs but non of the dropdown menus work, the close, minimize restore do however.
The console version does work as far as I can tell, detects ports. (haven't tried to program anything yet)
I have tried to run GUI as administrator also but still the same, anyone else had this problem?
I am running Windows 7 32 bit, Asus MB with built in COM1.
Any ideas would be appreciated... Brice.

Did you rename ds30LoaderGui.exe?
Its Norton Antivirus, it doesn't like ds30loadergui.exe. Here's a copy of what it says:

Sorry if its hard to follow, I just did a copy and paste from Norton download insight.
So I turned Norton off, unzipped all the files and the ran ds30loadergui.exe again and now it works... Brice.
