Framing Error
#1
Hi everyone,

I've just started working on a mikromedia kit for dsPIC33 and I'm trying to write the example codes to the device. I was able to make it work once, but since then I'm getting framing error while trying to write anything on the PIC, including the same code as the first one.

Do you have any ideas what can cause the problem? I'm quite new to topic so any help would be appriciated.

Thanks

Hi,
Framing error occur when there is a baud rate mismatch. Do you reset the pic first when pressing write in the gui?

Yes, I do that.

Now I'm getting another error though, gui is searches for bl but can't find, and says timed out. Any ideas?

Check oscillator and rx/tx pin configurations.
