GUI is opening forever [solved]

yesterday GUI (version 1.3.14) did not want to open for a very long time(couple of minutes), just when i wanted to demonstrate to my college how good the loader is. Also there were problems with opening http://mrmackey.no-ip.org/ address at the same time.
Today GUI opened quickly, but asked me if i want to update. So it seems the loader GUI tries to poll the net.
Is it possible to turn this option off and check for updates manually?

That was a bug in that is now fixed in the latest released version. It occurs when the web server
responds when the gui request the latest versions file. It can be deactivated from the menu or in the about window.
